Blue moon roofing was started when we saw how bad the roofing industry reputation was. Co- founder Grayson Carey is a second generation Oregon contractor and has personally been on thousands of Oregon homeowners roofs.

With a specialty in roof maintenance he knows what it takes to install and maintain a roof for the life of your home. Co-founder Travis Smith has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and is also a second generation Oregonian. Grayson and Travis decided to combine their knowledge and skills to bring elevated care, that’s oh-so rare to the roofing industry. Blue Moon Roofing and Gutters has partnered with GAF an independently owned roofing supplier that has held the spot as top manufacturer of roofing materials and shingles. GAF is American made throughout the supply chain, from the asphalt to the granules to the solar shingles. Blue Moon is a GAF Factory certified installer which allows us to provide better service and longer warranties while adhering to beyond code required installation standards. From our no nail guarantee to the specific fastening system we use that allows us to provide a no nail pop guarantee along with lifetime warranties on most products, you will not find a better built roofing system than a Blue Moon Roof.
